Spiritual Laws and Supernatural Power
There are great vortices of pure psychic energy set up in certain parts of the nervous system by the universal cosmic energy called “Prana.” While spinning at great speed in any deeply spiritual person, these etheric centers radiate energy. These psychic centers, or psychic wheels of energy are known collectively as “Chakras.” They are gateways to omnipresent super-galactic oneness.
Lying along the nave of the spine, it is through The Chakras that the soul and spirit are enabled to receive and channel cosmic energies. Also known as ‘The Gateways of Consciousness,’ each chakra has its own connection and purpose. It is not only beneficial for well-being to balance The Chakras, it’s also a direct method of uniting an individual’s soul with universal consciousness. They are prominent in the occult physiological practices of certain forms of Hinduism and Tantric Buddhism.
1st Chakra: Muladhara or “I AM”

This chakra is rooted in our connection with nature. It correlates with our stability to endure the trials of life and helps with our ability to survive and adapt.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony and/or blocked, it makes us afraid of change, we become unable to trust nature, and we focus on material possessions to fulfill our most selfish wishes and desires. Once this chakra is opened, we become aware of the beautiful world and its wondrous opportunities.
2nd Chakra: Swadhishtana or “I FEEL”
Sexual Chakra
Orange
This is the sexual chakra. It is located behind the genital region and is associated with our passionate energies. When a person is harmonious with this chakra they are happily connected to life and adequately able to share their feelings and emotions with others. Positive energy in our lives is brought forth by unrestricted free flowing energy in this area.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony, and/or blocked it can cause suppression of natural desires leaving one unstable and unsure in emotional matters. Negative energy is caused in our lives by inhibiting this free flow of energy, which can result in reproductive problems.
3rd Chakra: Manipura or “I DO”
Chakra of Personal Power and Strength
Yellow
This Chakra is located in the abdomen area just above the navel and is associated with great strength and will power. This chakra is the power center of the body and is the release point for pranic energy, for it balances the material and spiritual worlds. When a person meditates on this chakra and is harmonious with it, one feels wholeness and inner peace, including acceptance and tolerance of self and others.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony and/or blocked there is no trust in the natural flow and order of life. Insecurity unleashes a need to dominate, emphasizing the materialistic, and an even greater need for material security.
4th Chakra: Anahata or “I LOVE”
Chakra of Love
Green
This chakra is associated with great kindness and love, located directly over the heart. It is believed to connect the mind, body, and spirit. When meditated upon, a person can achieve a profound experience that opens the heart to the undeniable beauty of such a majestic universe.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony, and/or blocked the love given is not sincere. You cannot accept love given by others, and thus seek rewards.
5th Chakra: Vishuddha or “I SPEAK”
Throat Chakra
Blue
Located at the base of the skull, this light blue energy center directly impacts our glandular system and is associated with our ability to effectively express ourselves. Opening this chakra will also help those that have a difficult time communicating.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony and/or blocked a person can be fearful of being judged and rejected, cannot find expression despite excessive talking and is afraid of silence.
6th Chakra: Ajna or “I SEE”
“Third Eye” or Pineal Gland Chakra
Pure light
The brow chakra is pure light and is also described as the third eye, located slightly above and between the brows. Meditating on this energy center opens our psychic and intuitive abilities and bring together conscious and unconscious knowledge. Profound insights can be reached when opening the third eye.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony, and/or blocked we tend to only focus on intellect and science while rejecting spiritual aspects. We fear and neglect intuition, and only see obvious surface meanings.
7th Chakra: Sahasrara or “I UNDERSTAND”
Chakra of Enlightenment and Spiritual Understanding
Purple/Violet
Located at the crown of the head, meditating on this spiritual chakra is thought to reveal true wisdom and the nature of all understanding is thought to be experienced. To synchronize and balance this energy point promotes self-realization and the true nature of enlightenment. This chakra must be approached with caution and understanding for its effects can be profound.
This is thought to be the spiritual chakra where one can find true wisdom and where the nature of all understanding can be experienced.
When this chakra is unaligned, out of harmony, and/or blocked a person becomes unable to let go of anxiety and fear, is unable to imagine cosmic unity, or suffers depression and dissatisfaction.
